A Celebration of Black Women in Academia
This project aims to add to the scholarship by contributing positive Black women faculty experiences to the narrative, in order to benefit new and aspiring Black women faculty in navigating the academy. Just as importantly, it aims to assist department and institutional leadership who are looking to recruit and retain Black women faculty and improve their experiences and promote discussions and tangible action items to improve inequities within the professoriate. This project is being funded by the Indiana University Social Justice Research Grant Fund and has been approved by the Indiana University IRB 2011777879.
