Christen Priddie, Ph.D. is an Assistant Research Scientist with the National Survey of Student Engagement in the Center of Postsecondary Research and a scholar working with the College + University Teaching Environment project. Her research interests are centered around examining diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-blackness in STEM fields for Black STEM students and better understanding Black women’s experiences at multiple levels in higher education. She examines these research interests using QuantCrit, which provides tools for how to explore race and racism with quantitative methodologies. Dr. Priddie earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education from Indiana University Bloomington, M.S. in General Psychology from Virginia State University, and B.A. in Psychology from San Diego State University.
